Kingdom Come 2 plays a big YouTuber for MMORPGs, which could affect his channel: “Has changed me”

The MMORPG expert and YouTuber Thelazypeon played Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 without knowing the predecessor. That could have changed the alignment of his channel forever.

who is Thelazypeon? With 685 videos and 758,000 subscribers, Thelazypeon is one of the largest YouTubers for the genre of the MMORPGs. For many years he has been providing played reports, genre views and personal insights into his life in Thailand.

However, the “lazy worker” does not usually talk about single player role-playing games. It is correspondingly surprising that the content creator has now published an assessment of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 on YouTube. All the more because Thelazypeon never gambled the predecessor.

Hopefully Thelazypeon has seen our tips video for Kingdom Come 2:

A medieval world to fall in love with

What is the initial impression of Thelazypeon? At the beginning of the video, the MMORPG expert once again makes it clear that with RPGs, which place a big focus on story and cutscenes, he cannot normally do anything. Especially if they used an ego perspective.

However, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 literally blew it away in the first few hours. After about twelve hours, he can’t expect to see much more of the extensive role -playing game of the Warhorse Studios. He particularly praises:

  • The well written dialogues (“The NPCs talk like real people”) are part of the best thing that Thelazypeon has experienced in one game so far.
  • “Intermediate sequences, animation and narrative are very clear so far”-so they can do it that someone like him, who normally does not like long cutscenes, also looks with great pleasure.
  • The detailed world of Kingdom Come 2 looks fantastic, at the same time the game runs great on his PC. The lively hustle and bustle of the residents also always ensures that the YouTuber catches just to look instead of playing themselves.
  • The game has the most realistic implementation of alchemy and blacksmiths he has ever experienced in one game.
  • The rudimentary style of the map supports the feeling of having to explore the world independently.
  • Thelazypeon has played many games with a directional combat system over the years, such as Chivalry or Mordhau. In his view, Kingdom Come 2 is the game that has been most realistic this type of struggle so far. But it took some practice to go into the system.
  • With all the praise, Thelazypeon emphasizes that for him in Kingdom Come 2, not everything has been running smoothly for a long time. When someone who did not play the predecessor, he was particularly surprised at the sometimes hard learning curve. A quest for which he had to do bandits cost him countless attempts because he was far too weak for an open confrontation.

When you find yourself somewhere in a forest, in the middle of the night, far from your own bed, unprepared and without a torch, in the middle of a quest … and the last storage is a while ago … you quickly get the feeling that you are on your ass . That was exactly what happened to me several times. That was pretty frustrating.

But you have struggled through this initial experience, get equipment, penny and a horse, and if you gradually understand the systems and possibilities, quests successfully completes … “From here it starts to start really well.” I have the feeling every morning to open yourself into an epic adventure.

His conclusion: Kingdom Come 2 is a first-person medieval GTA, but with a significantly more realistic and more immense foundation, since the residents have a clear daily routine and remember the player’s actions. You can’t just run around and kill everyone.

Through this experience, the Youtuber thinks out loudly about opening his channel for single player RPGs in the future: “That changed me”. There is currently not too much going on at MMORPGs anyway, and he definitely wants to continue playing Kingdom Come 2.

  • Chrisb4894 writes under the video: “I would be happy if you cover more game genres than MMOs, because as you already say, the market is very bland at the moment, I love your content.”
  • Xilock_alotx commented: “I never played part 1 either. And since the start of KCD2 I have taken a vacation at work for several days because I am so addicted to this game. I want to live in this world every day. “
  • _JB89 praises the Peon: “You are the only streamer whose videos I actually look at me regularly. You always seem to have the same thoughts and opinions as I do. I look forward to seeing more content from this game, because I’m just as overwhelmed by it as you sometimes – Lol. Keep it up!”
  • Byrdfeathers3552 explains: “KCD1 was idiosyncratic but fantastic. I am so glad that KCD2 gets love it deserves. “
  • What do I need to know about Kingdom Come? The first role -playing game of the Warhorse Studios was released on February 13, 2018 and, despite some technical construction sites, blossomed as a surprise success. On Steam, the role -playing game is 83 % positive reviews.

Like part 1, the sequel to Heinrich, the son of a blacksmith. In both games, open world adventures await you from a first person perspective, which set a big focus on the story, an authentic simulation of the game world and the role player experience.

The KCD series pursues an old school approach, which takes you comparatively little, but also grants a lot of freedom. You can find out everything else here: everything about release, price, editions, system requirements, preload, roadmap and scope of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
