Britain’s King Charles III has been admitted to hospital for his planned operation, Buckingham Palace announced.
Last week it was announced that the king will have surgery for an enlarged prostate and that he will need a “shorter” time for recovery.
“The King was this morning admitted to a hospital in London for planned treatment,” the palace wrote in a statement in which King Charles III thanked “all those who have sent their best wishes over the past week.”
