County Governor Anna Kinberg Batra hired her favorite candidate as the new emergency manager – despite the advice of the county board’s HR manager.
It is clear from emails that TV4 News took part in.
The person who got the job, Mikael Jeppson, got the job even though he lacked an academic degree, which was a requirement in the ad.
In an email, HR manager Anne-Li Nagy writes to Anna Kinberg Batra that Mikael Jeppson is not the most suitable candidate for the job.
He lacked an academic degree, and had less experience in the security field than another candidate.
In his answer, Kinberg Batra still argues why the candidate should get the job offer.
When Anna Kinberg Batra commented on the criticism of her recruitments in TV4 earlier today, she repeated several times that competence is what came first.
