North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un continued his tour of eastern Russia on Friday, visiting a factory that builds fighter jets in the city of Komsomolsk-na-Amure, Russian state media reported.
On Wednesday, Kim met with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Vostochny space base. During the meeting, Putin suggested, among other things, that Russia can help North Korea build satellites.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un said North Korea offers its “full and unconditional support” for Russia’s “holy struggle” to defend its security interests. The statement, which came through an interpreter, is seen as a reference to the war in Ukraine.
The US has warned that the summit could lead to an agreement for North Korea to supply Russia with ammunition. In South Korea, there is widespread concern that North Korea would receive advanced weapons technology in exchange.
