If you’re currently playing Helldivers 2, you’ve probably already encountered the strikers. We’ll show you how to defeat the nasty creature.
Chargers are large and armored enemies that you have to be careful of in Helldivers 2. Things get particularly tricky when they have an army of add’s or several strikers are attacking you.
Since fighting against strikers can be a challenge, especially solo, we want to show you a few ways to defeat the creatures single-handedly.
3 Ways to Kill Strikers Effectively in Helldivers 2
This is how you kill strikers in Helldivers 2: There are different ways to take down a striker, each of which is effective in its own way.
You can also use rocks or other objects in the area to buy some time. To do this, simply run around the object in question and kite the striker to build up distance if necessary.
Kill strikers via the weak point: Strikers have a weak spot on their rear, on the underside of their body. This weak point is unarmored and is particularly vulnerable to your attacks. You can take advantage of this in battle.
The most obvious method is to dodge his charging attacks and then shoot him in the weak spot when his rear is turned towards you. But this is also the method that can take the most time, as you have to rely on countering his attacks.
Alternatively, you can cook grenades in your hands and throw them under the striker as he slowly walks towards you. This isn’t easy because you’re quite imprecise when doing this, but if you throw the grenades well, they’ll explode at the weak point and cause noticeable damage.
Attack striker head-on: If you don’t feel like constantly dodging or throwing grenades and would rather attack the striker head-on than shoot him in his weak spot, then you should aim for a front leg.
When the striker stalks towards you, choose one of the two front legs and shoot it with a railgun or anti-tank weapon. Due to your heavy fire, the armor on the leg that was shot breaks and reveals a new weak point.
Then all you have to do is shoot the unarmored leg with your normal weapon and you can defeat the creature in no time without having to try to hit the rear.
