Kill Bill star explains what’s really behind the rumor

Quentin Tarantino only wants to make one more movie in his life, and that’s The Movie Critic. There would be enough material for further productions. At the top of many fans’ lists is Kill Bill: Volume 3, which actress Vivica A. Fox is also dying to see in cinemas. She recently confirmed to Variety that she would love to see Spider-Man star Zendaya in the title role wool. But there is one important limitation, she explains now. Zendaya is just the Kill Bill star’s second choice for the Tarantino sequel

Fox told AV Club:

During an interview I was asked who I would see in the role of my film daughter. I was like, ‘Ambrosia Kelley, who played my daughter in Kill Bill: Volume 1.’ But then my interviewee said, ‘What if you had to pick a big name?’ So I replied ‘Zendaya’. Now everyone is reporting that I want to cast Zendaya as my daughter.

Quentin Tarantino has a very specific idea for Kill Bill 3: Fox’s character Vernita Green’s daughter, who witnessed her mother’s murderous fight with the bride (Uma Thurman) in Kill Bill 1, is years later on her own vendetta.

And indeed, in her original Express interview, Vivica A. Fox did Ambrosia Kelley as her first choice for the role called the vengeful daughter. Immediately afterwards, however, she refers to Zendaya as her “dream daughter“. So the excitement surrounding her testimony is not entirely unjustified.

Far more important than the final cast of Black Mamba’s daughter, however, is the question whether Kill Bill 3 really comes out at some point. Tarantino seems hell-bent on retiring from film directing. Whether he really sticks out in retirement is another matter.
