Next to Ukraine against the invasion of Russia, after the ‘ghost of Kiev’, this time, ‘Kiev’s goat’ takes place. Although the fate of the fugitive goat, which escaped from a farm in the village of Kinski Rozdory and destroyed the booby traps laid by the Russian army by adding dust to the smoke, is unknown, it is stated that at least 40 soldiers from the Russian army were injured.
CHAIN CAUSES A REACTION
According to Ukraine’s Chief Intelligence Directorate, the Russians set up a trap with grenades, which they planted as a “circular defense” around a local hospital.
However, shortly after the trap was set, the goat marched into the area, creating a chain reaction that injured dozens of soldiers.
A statement from Defense Intelligence said:
“The goat exhibiting chaotic movements ‘destroyed’ several grenades. As a result of the chain reaction, many Russians were injured with varying degrees of severity.”
It is estimated that at least 40 Russian soldiers were injured as a result of the goat destructing the explosives. The fate of the goat is unknown.
SOCIAL MEDIA IS TALKING ABOUT IT
The goat that injured Russian soldiers is called “Goat of Kyiv” on social media. The name comes from a legendary pilot known as the ‘Ghost of Kyiv’ who was previously famous for shooting down large numbers of Russian planes during Russia’s invasion of Kiev.
NOT THE FIRST ANIMAL TO HELP UKRAINE’S RESISTANCE
One of the animals that draws attention for being with Urayna in the war is a Jack Russel terrier dog Boss. The boss was notorious for searching for more than 200 explosive devices since the invasion began last month. Two-year-old Boss is working to eliminate the unexploded ordnance threat in the Chernihiv area north of Kiev. The boss has been working since he was six months old and ensures that Ukrainians return home safely without the risk of further injury or death.
Dog breeds like the Jack Russell have a strong sense of smell, making them more effective than humans in a mine clearance effort.
It is thought that hundreds of explosives were left behind with the withdrawal of Russian forces.
