“Kids cried and people got trapped” – Champions League final arrangements disappointed badly, Liverpool defender furious after game

The start of the match was delayed by 35 minutes due to no safety checks. Especially in the auditorium parts of Liverpool, there were still plenty of empty seats when the game had to start. The stadium was also accessible to spectators who did not have tickets.

Also the French Minister of Sport Amelie Oudea-Castera commented on the unrest.

Liverpool said the team is disappointed with the way its fans were treated.
