Since 2017, Sophie Walker, a young British, has been fighting kidney cancer. At the same time, her sister Megan – yet in perfect health – has the same symptoms as her.

It is an astonishing story to say the least. Two twin sisters, Sophie and Megan, suffer from the same symptoms of kidney cancer… although only one of them has it.

“There is absolutely nothing wrong with her”

It was in 2017 that Sophie Walker, a 16-year-old Briton, learned the terrible news: she had a “Wilms tumor”; the most common type of kidney cancer in children.

However, shortly after the announcement of the diagnosis, her twin sister, Megan, also began to suffer from the same symptoms: stomach and back pain, weight loss, paleness of the face…. So much so that those around her begin to worry about her.

People notice all the time how sick she looks, she’s even paler than her sister“, testifies Rebecca, the mother of the two teenagers, to the newspaper The Independent.

Surprising fact: despite these suggestive signs, Megan does not have cancer.

She has undergone every possible test imaginable, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with her. It’s really weird“, details the mother of the family.

In December 2022, Megan takes a new exam. This time it’s an MRI.

Nothing has appeared, there is absolutely nothing wrong with her“, still reports his mother.

If this phenomenon cannot be explained scientifically, it would be a “twin story” say the doctors.

It remains to be seen whether the girl’s symptoms persist over time.
