In exactly one hundred days, the Vuelta will start with a team time trial through Utrecht. This makes ‘we’ the first city to organize the Tour, the Giro and the Vuelta. Today is the kick-off of the festivities program in which we look forward to August 19th. Joop Zoetemelk, winner of the Vuelta in 1979, brings the red leader’s jersey from Overvecht to the city center with a large group of cyclists.
