The barometer indicator rose to 85.7 in February, from 83.3 in January.
“The biggest increase was in the service sector, whose confidence indicator rose by 3.0 units, while construction and civil engineering decreased by 2.1 units,” writes KI in a press release.
The manufacturing industry confidence indicator ended an eight-month decline with an upturn to 102.2, from 100.4 in January.
“The confidence indicator for the steel and metal industry bounced back in February and increased by a whopping 25 units after falling by 17 units in January. The industry’s indicator of 103.9 now shows a slightly stronger mood than normal,” writes KI.
The household confidence indicator rose for the second month in a row and increased by 2.2 points to 59.9.
