28-year-old Chimaev, welterweight, has agreed on a prestigious fight against 37-year-old profile Nate Diaz. The gala is scheduled for September 10 at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, and the fight will be the main match, according to ESPN.
In recent years, Chimaev has made a name for himself in the martial arts MMA and its largest UFC organization. “Borz”, as he is called, has five wins and zero losses in the UFC and is starting to approach a title match.
But first he must win over Diaz.
“I will take care of Nate Diaz’s UFC funeral,” Chimaev told ESPN.
Diaz who broke through with thunder and crash in the double meeting with Irish superstar Conor McGregor 2016. He won the first match but lost on the decision in the return. This is 37-year-old Diaz (21-13 in the UFC) last match on his UFC contract.
“This is a fight that Nate asked for in mid-April,” said Zach Rosenfield, Diaz’s agent.
