According to court documents, Larson is alleged to have defrauded Reeve of $65,000 by accessing her personal bank account and credit card and increasing debt without her knowledge between Jan. 1, 2017, and Jan. 1, 2020.
“The situation that has presented itself is a personal matter between my ex-partner, who is the mother of my children, and myself,” Larson told the Beacon Herald in April 2023 when he was initially charged. “It has nothing to do with any of our businesses, nor does it have anything to do with any of our investors or any of our buildings. That being said, at this time I would request that individuals respect that we have three children and that we both have families that are in this community together.”

He has faced a number of legal issues recently.
Larson wasn’t at the Stratford courthouse earlier this month for his first appearance relating to 15 fraud-related charges. His lawyer agreed via video to an April 8 adjournment for crown pretrial and instructions.
According to court documents, Larson allegedly defrauded one complainant in 2019 of more than $138,000 by using invested money without the complainant’s permission or knowledge. Larson also allegedly intended, through false pretence, to defraud a complainant of $1,600 around Dec. 1, 2023, documents showed.
In addition to the criminal charges, Larson – previously the owner of Larson Properties Partnership and Cooper Development Inc. and Larson Financial Solutions – has faced a raft of civil suits in six Ontario cities, including Stratford, from 2006 to 2024.
