After beating Real Madrid 2–1 in El Clásico at Camp Nou, Barça top the table on 68 points, 12 ahead of Real Madrid with 12 games to play.

Match winner?

Substitute Franck Kessié scored the winning goal in added time.

Before that, Barcelona had got off to a tough start with an own goal in the ninth minute.

The visitors’ Vinícius Júnior made it all the way to the touchline, sending in a cross that Ronald Araújo’s head set against goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen.

The lead lasted until the end of the half, when Sergi Roberto took advantage of a messy situation in the Real Madrid penalty area and ensured possession led to an equaliser.

Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio, substituted in the 76th, had a ball in the net at the end but the shot was ruled out after VAR review.

Instead, it was Barcelona’s Kessié who decided.
