Three years after the government’s decision to return to the ban on importing food and seeds genetically modified to Kenya, a court of appeal decided to suspend their authorization in the country again last week. An unexpected and celebrated reversal, Thursday, March 20, in Nairobi by peasant associations and environmental NGOs behind the complaint, to whom justice had proven wrong at first instance.
