There, Kennet Andersson writes about his loss and touches everyone with his heartwarming words.
“10 years. So much can happen in 10 years. A life has time to change. Young people have time to become adults. But you remain close to Klabbe. Just, now or near. Can still feel that unreal feeling that you are not with us. In recent days, I have received several requests to record videos or be part of a TV recording and talk about you. 10 years is an important number on this site, you know. Have turned down all of them. Did I make a mistake Klabbe? Should I have been there perhaps?”, writes Kennet in his emotional post, which you can read in its entirety below.
“It is so nice that many people want to honor you. Remember you. Don’t know. It just felt wrong somehow. It feels so weird to send a 30 second video explaining what you meant to me. Or be part of a TV program where you might get the floor 2-3 times and have to quickly explain what I feel today and what you meant to Swedish football. I don’t feel like I could do it with dignity. Feels futile. Hope it’s ok? You’re kind of with everyone these days until 10 years after you left. And probably the days to come too. Uh, I don’t know. Don’t know what is right or wrong.”
“So nicely written”
Kennet Andersson is extremely grateful for the time he got together with Klas Ingesson.
“I just know that you shouldn’t be the kind of person you miss in life. You should be here. You would like it. So many people would like it. It would just be normal as well. So of course. But damn how proud I am that I got to know you! Thank you for letting me be a part of your life, thank you for all the talk and everything we learned and experienced. Thank you Klabbe!”, he writes on social media.
