Ken Levine’s new game Judas was introduced at PlayStation State of Play. This game, set in a futuristic society, will excite BioShock fans.
Judas, the new game that BioShock series creator Ken Levine and his studio Ghost Story Games have been working on for more than ten years, was introduced for the first time at Sony’s PlayStation State of Play event. This game stands out as the first major project developed by Levine and his team since BioShock Infinite.
Ken Levine’s New Play, Judas, Comes to the Stage After a Long Time
According to the new teaser, Judas is set in a futuristic society where everyone’s thoughts are captured and displayed on multiple screens. In the teaser, a figure resembling the character Elizabeth from BioShock Infinite states that people’s thoughts are “planted in your brain like weeds in a garden” and claims that it will help them get out of this situation.
The game is full of elements reminiscent of the BioShock series. In the trailer, scenes of the gameplay of Judas, whom we have seen before, equipped with weapons, plasmid-like powers and robot towers, attract attention.
The motto of the game is quite striking: “Fix what you broke.” This slogan alludes to the theme of the game and the role of the player.
Although no official release date has been announced yet, Judas is expected to be released sometime this fiscal year, ideally before April 2025. This new project of Levine and his team creates great curiosity and excitement in the gaming world.
