65 kilos of kebab meat from a wholesaler in Dalarna have been seized and subject to a sales ban. The product turned out to contain 30 percent horse meat, something that was not clear from the packaging, reports P4 Dalarna.
According to the environmental office in Borlänge municipality, the sale is stopped partly because the labeling is misleading, partly because the meat is unsafe from a food point of view.
