Keanu Reeves got nearly 40000 for a Yeah

John Wick: Chapter 4 lasts almost three hours, but Keanu Reeves wanted to speak less than ever in it. The action star is said to have made sure that dialogue was repeatedly removed from the script for the sequel. Comparing the number of words spoken to Reeves’ fee sets an impressive record.

Keanu Reeves was paid nearly $40,000 per John Wick 4-Word spoken

As Deadline reports, Reeves says exactly 380 words in the 170-minute film. A third of it should only consist of his casual “Yeah”. Originally, the script for the fourth part had more dialogue, but according to director Chad Stahelski, Reeves eliminated about half of it himself.

According to Uproxx, the star is said to have received a fee of around 15 million dollars for John Wick 4. If this sum is correct, Reeves received almost $40,000 per spoken word.

After the end of John Wick 4, there are still no concrete plans for John Wick: Chapter 5. Let’s wait and see whether the stoic contract killer speaks less again. The contract killer universe is also being expanded further. A series in which Keanu Reeves is also set to appearis coming, as well as a spin-off starring James Bond and Blond star Ana de Armas.
