Whether RTL was responsible for this or Thomas Gottschalk and Mike Krüger came to this decision – one thing is certain: The podcast Die Supernasen will be discontinued this year. That was a reason for the two Kaulitz brothers to talk about it in their podcast.
Kaulitz brothers make fun of Gottschalk: “Of course they left him voluntarily”
In the last issue of Kaulitz Hills – Mustard from Hollywood on December 3rd, the two talked about the end of the Supernase podcast. Bill Kaulitz introduced the topic by saying that he still “a nice message” want to announce. “That’s a nice final word”says the singer happily in conversation. Tom Kaulitz then joked further:
I think most people don’t even know what that is. A podcast.
He was probably alluding to the age of Gottschalk and Krüger’s target audience. Brother Bill became particularly ironic when it came to the reason for discontinuing the podcast:
And of course they left completely voluntarily. DIt’s not because no one hears it. It was incredibly successful. They thought: ‘We’ll stop at the peak’
Tom Kaulitz then admits that he has never heard the podcast. Then laid down Bill with his ironic manner after:
You are one of the few. The rest of the world has all heard that, Tom.
The Kaulitz brothers’ podcast continues to go well – Gottschalk podcast about to end
The end of Die Supernasen was announced by both RTL and Gottschalk in the podcast. It is not clear whether the podcast has been discontinued by RTL or whether Thomas Gottschalk and Mike Krüger have tuned in to the podcast on their own initiative. Gottschalk simply said he didn’t want any more “Shitstorms” trigger. He is alluding to the media discourse around him and his statements about his book and most recently about Maite Kelly.
The podcast is currently going very well for the Kaulitz brothers. Kaulitz Hills has been around for over three years and is… one of the most successful podcasts in comedy.
