Katia Mosally and Claudia Galli Conchas relationship after Traitors

On November 17, the drama “På gatan där jag bor” premiered on Viaplay. In the six-episode series plays Lena Philipson starring Nina, who starts a new relationship four years after her husband passed away. The series is about a group of neighbors who live in an idyllic residential area in a small Swedish town, and about their intertwined lives.

Claudia Galli Concha on “On the street where I live”

Claudia Galli Concha plays Nina’s best friend Moa, and for News24 she tells us about the shoot and what viewers can expect from the new series.

– It’s probably one of the most wonderful characters I’ve had the chance to play in my life so far. She is a person who has everything under control and at the same time everything is chaos at the same time. She is a single girl, works as a broker and was left a few years ago. She hasn’t gotten over it, although she likes to show that she has, the actor says and continues:

– But she is a bubbly girl and is very loyal to her best friend Nina, played by Lena. She is a woman in her prime who has the future ahead of her, while at times it looks quite dark inside herself, I think.

Claudia Galli Concha about Lena Philipsson: “Ashärlig”

In the series, Claudia Galli Concha and Lena Philipsson play best friends, who hang out often. In reality, however, they had never seen each other before filming. But what was Claudia’s first impression of Lena?

– That she’s awful. I had never met Lena, in fact I don’t think we had even greeted each other before, and we didn’t test shoot each other. So the first time I met her, the collation was in a tight spot, but it never felt like there would be any problems. She has a lot of integrity, which I think is very cool, says Claudia and continues:

– But she is an icon, so there is so much about her that is inspiring and fascinating. She has always felt like such an incredibly strong type of person, and you can only confirm that when you work with her. She is incredibly nice, lovely, charming and we had great fun. I’m so glad I got to do this with her.

“There is so much conversation”

The series revolves around a group of neighbors, who have a very close relationship and are very involved in each other’s lives. And Claudia Galli Concha says that that community was also present among the actors and the rest of the team.

– We filmed so much and there were many days when there were a lot of people on set. We sat in the make-up from six in the morning and then you go home at seven in the evening.

She explains that there were a lot of people on site during the recording, and that they socialized a lot in the lounge.

– I can like that about being on a recording, especially when you sit in these lounges. So much conversation is born. As soon as you have no task to do in ordinary life, you look down at your phone or take the opportunity to do something else. When you sit like that in a lounge, you can ask those questions. And I think it’s very nice, that all of a sudden you have these conversations with people you might not otherwise have a conversation with.

Claudia Galli Concha got her breakthrough when she was in “Skilda världar” in TV4. She has since become a popular actor and is known for films and series such as “Summer with the family”, “Fjällbackarmorden”, “Svensson Svensson” and “Suedi”.

But the actor has also participated in the reality show “The Traitors”. It was in 2023 that the first season of the Swedish edition premiered on TV4, and it ultimately became the Idol jury member Katia Mosally who won the entire competition.

Claudia on the betrayal in The Traitors: “Don’t be surprised”

In the final, Katia Mosally voted out her traitor partner Claudia Galli Concha, and instead shared the winnings with Olivia Karlsson. Katia Mosally recruited Claudia Galli Concha to the traitor side at the end of the season and they made it all the way to the finals. If the traitor duo had been left alone, they would have had to share the money, but Katia instead chose to vote out Claudia.

For Nyheter24, Claudia talks about the feelings during the final and about the relationship with Katia today, one year after the program was broadcast.

– First of all, I was forcibly recruited, which I wished I hadn’t been. I’ve seen my fair share of seasons and almost always when someone is forcibly recruited I know how it ends. So I wasn’t too surprised.

– No one wants anything bad for anyone. It’s like running a race. You want to finish and you want to finish first. But it was almost even more dramatic with Olivia. It was more beautiful in terms of television.

Claudia Galli Concha and Katia Mosally’s relationship today

Claudia further explains that she was always very aware that the whole thing was a game, and that you therefore cannot take it too seriously. But what does her and Katia’s relationship actually look like today? And have they had any contact after everything that happened?

– Yes, we have definitely been listened to. We didn’t hang out before, nor after. I don’t hang out with anyone. Nicci and I have little contact, but that’s the way it always is. After all, you are a put together group that does that, then you see each other a bit straight away if you have press days and such. We hear each other and there is social media.

However, there does not seem to be any anger with Claudia regarding the way her Traitors journey ended.

– For me, it was a bit like that second was only there and then. But then I took my suitcase and just wanted to go home to my children and my husband, after being gone for nine days. I didn’t think much of it after that. It is then and there in that moment that you think: “Yes, she did that”. And then you let it go, or at least I did. I don’t think everyone does maybe.
