We are used to seeing the actor Kate Winslet on the big screen together with stars like Leonardo DiCaprio and Jim Carrey. But now she has a brand new colleague – Swedish Johan Dahnberg.
– It feels a little different in the soul to be able to say that I filmed with Kate Winslet, says Johan Dahnberg who is curator at Halland’s art museum.
“Fantastically likable”
It was in connection with the filming of the BBC program “Who Do You Think You Are?” as the multi-awarded actor visited Halland to become aware of his roots. Then she was taken to Halmstad castle “under great silence and silence”. Her grandfather’s grandfather had been imprisoned there after stealing potatoes.
But what was Kate really like?
– She was a fantastically likeable person. Kate was easy to have and do with and was not complicated, no divalates, says Johan Dahnberg.
The lunch date
When it was time for lunch, Johan was also included.
– So then we sat inside the castle and ate sushi lunch together with Kate and her family, so it was quite nice.
