Now Karsten Warholm sends a clear pass to the Swede.

The summer has been fantastically good for the Swedish world star Armand Duplantis. First he won the second Olympic gold of his career in Paris and then “Mondo” broke a new world record with 6.25 meters that same evening.

Now it’s time for the pole vaulting giant to write new, unforgettable sports history. Mondo is pitted against the Norwegian 400-meter star Karsten Warholm in an incredibly talked about super duel, when both will compete against each other in the 100 meters in Zurich on September 4.

The historic duel

In contrast to Duplantis, Warholm only had to settle for Olympic silver in his parade event 400 meters hurdles during the Summer Olympics in Paris. Now the Norwegian is really hungry for revenge to show what he really stands for.
– I will go all in as soon as that starting gun sounds. I’m going to give it my all and throw myself completely out there on the track. We’ll see who has the most strengths and the fewest weaknesses, says the northern beetle in a video on Instagram, which you can see below.
