It concerns a relative of a young woman who died after being hit by a truck in Stockholm this summer. The relative wrote in a Facebook post that was widely circulated about how she tried to contact the hospital for four days.
Karolinska responded to the criticism in a separate post where they wrote both the first and last name of the relative. The name was removed after the relative contacted them and a day later the entire post was removed.
The hospital reported themselves to IMY, which now responds with a reprimand. The board is exempt from penalty fees as IMY believes that measures were taken relatively quickly.
