Karien captures Westbroeks nature in three lines of poetry sometimes

Sometimes Karien hardly needs to take a step to come up with an idea for a haiku. “Perhaps the most special haiku is the first one I wrote for the newspaper, when there was a yellow mullein blooming right outside the door. When we came back from vacation it was there in full regalia. Then I wrote: This yellow guy, stands for weeks at the door, without calling. Of course I will add a photo, otherwise no one will understand what it is about.”
