Amsterdam – Karel V has brought a Michelin star to the city of Utrecht after years. This was announced to loud cheers at the presentation of the Michelin guide 2023 in the DeLaMar Theater in Amsterdam. “I almost didn’t dare to come anymore. I fought for years, made a different sound heard, cooked sympathetically. At a certain point you put it aside, but now it worked out, thanks to my great sous chef” , beamed chef Leon Mazairac, who received the star from Jonnie Boer van de Librije and Jannis Brevet from Inter Scaldes.
