In the second quarter it was Rotterdam that drew the final over two games. Thijs van Dam made it 2-1. After that, there were fewer chances on both sides, although Rotterdam’s Tjep Hoedemakers was still close to the winning goal in the last quarter. Janssen was the big man again just in time. He scored his second goal, again from a penalty corner, and thus brought the national title back to Utrecht.
