The signatories of the letter are the directors of the former concentration camps in Amersfoort, Vught, the National Monument Oranjehotel and the Indian Remembrance Center in The Hague. According to them, the money they receive would only cover conservation and management, while there is no room for development. The centers have seen visitor numbers increase in recent years, as has the demand for education about the war, polarization and anti-Semitism.
