Kamala Harris confirmed her presidential candidacy with an online vote

Harris’s nomination was secured a little over two weeks before the Chicago Democratic convention. Harris is expected to announce his vice-presidential candidacy in the near future.

Vice president Horrible Harris the Democratic Party’s nomination in the US presidential election was confirmed late Friday Finnish time. Harris received enough votes in the virtual vote of the delegates.

Harris also published a similar statement on the messaging service in X.

– This election campaign is about bringing people together, fueled by the love we feel for the country and the desire to fight for what is best in us, Harris says in a statement.

More than two weeks until the party meeting

Harris was expected to win the vote with near certainty because he already has the support of nearly all delegates. He has no counter-candidate in the vote.

Harris will face the Republican presidential candidate in the November election Donald Trump’swhose candidacy was officially confirmed at the Republican convention in Milwaukee in July.

Harris’s nomination was secured more than two weeks before the Democratic Party Convention, which will be held in Chicago on the 19th-22nd. August. Unlike the Republicans, the Democratic presidential candidate is also officially confirmed before the actual party convention.

Harris quickly gained strong support for his candidacy after Pres Joe Biden announced that he would give up his pursuit of the next season.
