Kalle Palander opened up about FIS’ security measures at the World Championships in Planica. Palander has also received many messages asking him to help fallen Finnish skiers.

At the World Ski Championships, Finns’ victories are expected on the weekends in the Urheilustudio’s grandstand. Palander, the world champion in slalom, reminds us that he once competed against the Olympic champion in cross-country skiing at Urheilustudio Sami Jauhojärvi against in alpine skiing. Palander was wearing cross-country skis.
– Skis are a bit of a bummer, when we actually have decent skis and skis. It’s much easier for us. It was not easy to compete against Jauhojärvi in the slalom with ski boots, Palander said.
Palander described that he was insanely upset during the match against Jauhojärvi.
