Kalle and Jerker train Ukrainian soldiers in war medical care

Kalle and Jerker, whose real name is something else, go to Ukraine continuously and have been doing so since the war broke out.

– At the beginning of the war, people were much more willing to help, but now it has gone downhill. People have become tired, says Kalle.

In addition to going down with supplies and medical equipment, both have also trained soldiers fighting at the front in trauma medical care for almost two years.

– Many call it war medical care. There are large bleedings in extremities, how to treat a punctured lung and more, says “Jerker”.

– The little we do affects their lives directly, says Kalle.

“Going down like a friend”

The soldiers they have trained have now become some of their closest friends. And every time they go down, they try to greet them – no matter how close to the front they are.

– We show that we are not just here to leave things or do training, but you also go down as a friend. It is very important. It makes their morale rise a little, says Kalle.
