The police in Norrbotten report this:
Around 45 snowmobiles/snowmobilers have been checked, resulting in the following:
– 7 fines for license plate deficiencies have been issued
– 8 flying inspections of scooters have been carried out
– 4 people have been fined for not wearing a helmet
– a traffic ticket has been issued due to a scooter being suspended
– a driver has been allowed to come along for sampling after suspicion of drunken driving. During further testing, however, the driver blew below the punishable limit.
