Sotkamo Manse PP and Kouvola squatted their opponents Sports

The preliminary series of the MEN’s Superpesis ended.

Sotkamo Jymy’s men start from the top spot in the upper continuation series of Superpesis. In the final round, the people of Kainuu pushed past Manse PP, who lost in Vimpeli, for first place, which was tied behind Jymy due to its fewer wins.

A simple six-round follow-on series is played from the points of the initial series, so the rankings do not matter much. However, the program of the follow-up series, which is pushed in a week and a half, is very tight, so the day off offered to the number one in the middle of it is a significant bonus.

Even before the final round, Kiteen Pallo, anchored in sixth place, lost to Jymy 0–2 (1–6, 0–4). Jymy’s joker leading the batting statistics Roope Korhonen broke KiPa’s triple side forging 1+7 runs.

– In the last month, a big step forward has been taken. A certain calmness came into the game when we beat five tough opponents in a row, described Jymy’s game manager Iiro Haimi after the tenth consecutive win.

KPL is two points away from the top two

In the tight top end, Kouvola’s Pallonlöjät, who ended their streak of seven wins in the first series, finished third, beating Alajärvi’s Ankkurei, who built a three-point situation, 2–0 (5–0, 6–1).

Vimpelin Veto and Kempeleen Kiri are also chasing the home advantage offered to Kärkineliko in the quarterfinals. Vimpeli won Manse with a score of 2–1 (1–2, 3–2, 3–2). KeKi, on the other hand, beat Pattijoki Urheilijat 2–0 (5–4, 8–3) in the provincial round of Pohjois-Ostrobothnia.

The lower follow-on series, which brings five additional matches, will be meaningless to Hyvinkää Tahko, who have already practically secured their entry to the playoff qualifiers with home advantage. On Sunday, Tahko showed attitude by seeking a victory in Ukonniemi, when Imatra’s Pallo-Veikot surrendered 0–1 (1–2, 2–2).

The battle of the jumbo five in the lower continuation series will be bloody. In Sunday’s basement section meeting, Seinäjoki’s Jymy-Jussit beat Hamina’s Palloilijat 2–0 (9–8, 5–4).

Those who finish 8-10 will play the qualifiers for reaching the quarter-finals with the seventh-placed team. Places 11-12 are eliminated from their league place. The season ends after the playoffs only with jumbo, which drops directly into the First Pool.
