The Jurassic Park franchise is far from over. After we were initially treated to three films from the original trilogy in the 1990s and early 2000s, the Jurassic World series was born in the 2010s, and is now being expanded to include a fourth part. Even though it is set in the same universe as its predecessors, the film is intended to be separate from them. Neither the Jurassic Park stars around Sam Neill nor the Jurassic World stars around Chris Pratt are expected to return for the sequel.
Instead, Universal is relying on new faces, led by none other than Scarlett Johansson. While the cast list of the sci-fi blockbuster has started to fill up more and more in recent weeks, another real Hollywood star be in talks for the film.

As Deadline reports, Luna Blaise (Manifest) will also play a key role in the film. Monkey Man star Dev Patel and Colman Domingo (Euphoria) were also recently mentioned for the film. However, this has not yet been confirmed.
It remains to be seen whether Mahershala Ali will actually appear in Jurassic World 4. The actor was actually hired by the MCU for the upcoming Blade reboot which is due to hit cinemas at the end of 2025. It is doubtful whether Ali will be able to juggle both projects – unless Blade is postponed again anyway. So far, no script has been finalized for the superhero blockbuster. Jurassic World 4 is way ahead of that: The script for the dinosaur sequel was written by Jurassic Park author David Koepp.
