Jumped on Paludan’s car – charged with vandalism

It was the first of May that Rasmus Paludan tried to set fire to a Koran outside the Uppsala mosque. He was then attacked by a number of people, including one of whom jumped on his car as he left the scene. Paludan had previously been denied permission to demonstrate at the site.

Now the man who jumped on the car is charged with vandalism. The prosecution is demanding SEK 72,450 in damages for the damage to the car.

The accused must have confessed to the crime during questioning.

Earlier, a 62-year-old man was charged with blue light sabotage in connection with the same incident.
