UTRECHT – Julia is tired. Tired of the crowds in her head. Tired of worries. Tired of searching for work. She is 42 and she has been working as a labor migrant in the Netherlands for 12 years. She has done everything, from working in the food industry to odd jobs in horticulture. It has always gone up and down in those 12 years, “but I have always been able to take good care of myself,” she says proudly. “Until now.”
