Dorien Korsten, producer of National Children’s Remembrance Day 4 May, believes it is important that children learn that it is not self-evident that we can live in freedom in the Netherlands. “With this empathy for a fictional war in which children are challenged to think, we want to connect even better with the perception of children and young people. It makes war tangible in this time.”
