Juho Kilo scored a great goal KuPSs first defeat

HJK beat Gnistan 4–0 in the local competition in Helsinki. On national football day, a full round was played in the Veikkausliiga.

Veikkausliiga league leader KuPS suffered their first defeat of the season on Wednesday night, when FC Haka visited Kuopio and claimed league points for Valkeakoski with a score of 1–0 (1–0).

It was the only goal of the match Juho Kilon a wonderful hit in the 13th minute of the game. Kilo was robbed of the ball from Axel Vidjeskog and surprised the KuPS guard Johannes Kreidlin with his outside kick from around 17 meters. The goal was the 21-year-old midfielder’s second of the season and also of his league career.

At the end of the match, Haka had to defend with a hurrah to maintain their lead, and their persistence was rewarded with a tasty victory.

– I’m proud of every guy. Today, everyone put their bodies into action, Haka’s happy captain Niklas Friberg praised Ruudu in an interview after the match and described the victory as a battle victory.

Lynx stronger in Turku

On Wednesday, the Veikkausliiga was played not only in Kuopio but also in five other cities, as the national football day on Wednesday culminated in a full league round. One of the highlights of the round was the meeting between FC Inter and Ilves in Turku.

Having struggled with challenges since the beginning of the season, Inter had two consecutive victories under their belt, but Ilves made sure that the winning streak of the Turks didn’t get any longer. The team from Tampere, who took the last meeting of the teams sovereignly, also left Inter to zero this time and won the match 2–0 (0–0).

Santeri Haarala gave the visitors the lead in the 57th minute of the game, and Roope Risk completed the winning numbers with extra minutes of the second half.

HJK won Helsinki’s local competition

The local rivalry between Gnistan and HJK in Helsinki culminated in a 4–0 (2–0) victory for HJK, who played away in front of an audience of more than 3,000.

Two draws in the round

In Oulu, the meeting between AC Oulu and FC Lahti ended in a draw. Ashley Coffey took the Oulu team into the lead at the beginning of the first period, but Lahti came up in the last moments of the period Luke Ivanovic on the finish line.
