Judge does not give Big Bazar more time, bankruptcy threatens again

Judge does not give Big Bazar more time bankruptcy threatens

Province of Utrecht – Big Bazar does not have more time to make agreements with creditors. The court in Leeuwarden has refused for the second time to impose a so-called cooling-off period for this purpose. This threatens another bankruptcy for the bargain chain with more than a hundred stores and around 1,300 employees. In our province, the retail chain has branches in Utrecht, Amersfoort, Woerden, Veenendaal and Nieuwegein.
