Our guest this Sunday, December 24 is a virtuoso. Saxophone, clarinet, trumpet, Jowee Omicil is a multi-instrumentalist from Haiti. The artist has just released his latest album Spiritual Healing: Bwa Kayiman Freedom Suite, a reference, a quest to return, to tell in music the slave revolution in 1791 in Haiti, a revolution which will lead to others. This record also contains numerous references to Africa, Senegal and Guinea where Jowee Omicil came to find his musical roots. An audio interview with Guillaume Thibault.
