Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan Ayman Safadi said on Saturday that the country will not allow the conflict between Iran and Israel to expand into the territory of its state.

Earlier in April, Iran launched drones and missiles at Israel, which Jordan said it repelled.

Iran has announced a retaliatory strike against Israel after Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed in Tehran at the end of July. Israel has neither admitted nor denied involvement in the assassination, which has been feared to lead to a wider regional conflict in the Middle East.
