The president of the National Rally Jordan Bardella went to the agricultural show this Sunday, February 23. During his visit, he estimated that the atmosphere at the Porte de Versailles is quieter this weekend compared to last year, while stressing that “nothing has changed for farmers”.
Mercosur, which is at the heart of concerns among French farmers, is according to Jordan Bardella, “yet another free trade agreement (…) which will lead to terrible unfair competition for our farmers”. The president of the RN also says being “in the campaign against the Green Deal and the Green Pact”.

The Green Deal “inspired by punitive ecology”
“We who already have the most specific agriculture in the world, we impose standards and regulations that are not applied to the products that enter our territory,” he deplored. “If we want to save French agriculture, we must lead the battle against the Green Pact and against the Green Deal which is inspired by punitive ecology,” he continued.
The Minister of the Interior “must act or leave”
Asked about the terrorist attack which took place in Mulhouse on Saturday February 22, Jordan Bardella said that “the Minister of the Interior who is responsible for security must now act or leave (…) The same facts are repeated and No background measurement is taken (…) No French visa should be issued to Algeria.
