Jonna Sundling’s dream message for the new season – broke the stars and won the “secret” competition

The ski season is fast approaching.
And there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with Jonna Sundling’s form.
The star won a “secret” competition – in front of stars like Ebba Andersson and Emma Ribom.

Jonna Sundling is perhaps the skiing world’s hottest skater with an impressive championship result. In recent years, she has won a whopping five Olympic and World Cup medals, and during last year’s World Cup season the dominance continued.

The world’s best sprinter

However, Sundling faced tough opposition in the form of Norwegian Kristine Stavå’s Skistad at the end of last season, but on the whole it was Jonna Sundling who was the dominant player. Sundling has an almost scary ability to always perform when it matters most, and there are few who can beat her when it comes to tactical decisions during sprint finals.

For next season, which is now only weeks away, Sundling has clearly stated that her goal is to get better at longer distances, but it is still in sprints that she has her main expertise. And there are many indications that there will be continued dominance for Sundling during the winter, and there really doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with the star’s form…

Won the secret competition

When it’s Sweden’s premiere in Gällivare, classic sprint is on the schedule, just as it is when it’s the World Cup premiere in Raka on November 24. The national skiing team is currently at a training camp in Vålådalen, and held a “secret” competition on Tuesday. The national team riders jumped into the competition clothes and ran a sprint race with a prologue and finals. With the women’s side were stars such as Jonna Sundling, Ebba Andersson, Emma Ribom and Johanna Hagström.

All four above-mentioned skaters also made it to the finals of the competition. The national skiing team themselves have not published any official results from the competition, but they have, however, shared sequences from the competitions on their Instagram. There it became clear that Jonna Sundling won the final, with a good margin down to Johanna Hagström who finished second. Emma Ribom was third, and Ebba Andersson, who is not really a sprint specialist, was fourth.
