Jonna Sundling took three World Cup gold medals in Trondheim just under a month ago.
Now she comes with a new message about the season ending.
Boyfriend Anton Olofsson can also play an important role in decision -making.
After the success of the World Cup at the end of February/March – where she took three gold medals and one bronze – became Jonna Sundling30, sick. She therefore missed the last World Cup competitions in Holmenkollen and Lahti. Next weekend she will be part of the SM finish in Kalix, but then the racing season is over. Or?
Jonna Sundling is investing in local race
In the “Winter Pass” podcast, Jonna tells us that she is thinking about extending her season to April 12. So another week after the SM is decided. She will compete in 10 km classic, team sprint in freestyle and 30 kilometers freestyle in Kalix. Then the Kungsledenrännet is very likely to wait at home in Västerbotten.
– It feels like it can be absolutely magical if you get the weather on your side. I know others have traveled it and it seems like a fun race and they have good snow so hopefully the snow will not be a problem, she says in the pod.

Kungsledenränten is an eight -mile long freestyle race that runs between Hemavan and Ammarnäs, over mountains and past lakes in an incredible mountain environment.
– I’ll probably go with a friend who is doing a drag dog and we went to the ski gym together, says Jonna.

She also tells in the podcast, which she has together with the biathlon Elvira Öberg and Hanna Öberg as well as former skier Charlotte Kallathat her partner Anton Olofsson In all likelihood will also go. He has traveled the Kungledenrännet several times before.
– I have not registered yet, I have booked accommodation, but have not signed up. We’ll see, she says.

Jonna receives support from Charlotte Kalla, who encourages her and pepper her to drive. Kalla competed with his then partner Anders SvaneboCurrent Valla Chief in the Swedish Ski National Team, in 2016. Then they won the competition.
“It was fun to drive,” she says.
