Jonna Sundling is official World Cup queen!
After a completely brought run on the last stretch, she ate up Norway’s lead in over 30 seconds and made sure to sprint home the World Cup gold in the women’s relay.
It is Sweden’s fifth straight gold on the women’s side.
Victory in the sprint, Skiathlonen, 10-kilometer race and in the team sprint. The Swedish ladies had been 100 percent until Friday’s relay. In addition to four golds, there had also been two bronze medals, one to Jonna Sundling And one more Frida Karlsson. Now they suddenly have a fifth gold – all thanks to Jonna Sundling!
After a swaying start of Emma Ribom Sweden dropped more than half a minute in Norway. Frida Karlsson had to take over in an ungrateful position but managed to take in a few seconds on Astrid Öyre Slind. In the third stretch went the double World Cup gold medalist Ebba Andersson a hot duel toward Therese Johaugbut Norway kept its leadership intact.

That was before unbeatable Jonna Sundling came into the match. In less than two minutes she had managed to eat up the whole of Norway’s lead and she suddenly lay in the back on the untrained Kristin Austgule Fosnäs.
