Now the Swedish ski star reveals his new, unexpected job.
– They thought it was a scam, she tells Expressen.
The past season was tough at first too Jonna Sundling who struggled with disease problems. But once she came back, the Swede proved once again that she is one of the world’s best sprinters.
Sundling’s effort
Sundling had to deal with his reborn national team colleague Lynn Svahn and the Norwegian star skater Kristine Stavå’s Ski City in the fierce competition on the sprint side. Then we got to see glimpses of Jonna’s greatness as a skier and she impressively also great at distance during the end of the skiing season.

At the end of May, the national skiing team gathers again to start training for the new season, which will be so important as the Ski World Cup in Trondheim awaits next winter. But alongside her skiing career, the 29-year-old has got a completely new job, where she surprises everyone.
Jonna’s new job
Recently, Jonna Sundling had the great honor of stepping into Svenska Spel’s television studio and calling Swedish millionaire winners.
– It was really fun. People were so happy, but skeptical at first. Then you really have to point out: “Yes, that’s true. You have won a million. Check your account,” says Sundling to Expressen with a laugh.
– It was very nervous, especially calling the winners and trying to get them to understand that they had actually won. They thought it was a scam.

One of the lucky winners who was shocked that it was Sundling who called on the phone was a man from Falun, who loves cross-country skiing. Now he will spend part of the winnings on riding the classic long-distance race Marcialonga in Italy.
– I was very shocked when she called. It took me a while to realize it wasn’t a scam. But it was fun that it was Jonna Sundling who called because I’m very interested in skiing, he says to the evening newspaper.

Jonna Sundling also has to answer the question what she would have done if she won a million kroner.
– I had pushed the pennies into my continued skiing investment. Maybe bought a mountain cabin or something else that I can use. As a reinvestment in myself, she says in the interview.
