Jonathan Pudas upset the Färjestad bench in the victory match

Not only that Skellefteå defeated Färjestad 6-4.
Team captain Jonathan Pudas also managed to anger the entire opposing team after he went towards their bench to “have a little chat”.

– Not so appreciated, he says in TV4 Play.

With two minutes left in the match between Skellefteå and Färjestad it was 4-4, but then the Västerbottins put in another gear and made two quick ones. It was an important victory for the home team who actually climbed up as leaders, alone on 24 points, in the SHL table.

Argued with the opponents

After the final whistle, there was some talk about the Skellefteå captain Jonathan Pudas31, who had caused some chaos away at the Färjestad bench during the match. He had to answer in TV4 Play afterwards.

– Shall we start with that little tumult? What are you saying? What happened?, asks the TV4 commentator Johan Edlund.

– One of their guys was sitting and shouting at me, so I asked what he wanted. Number 14 here (Henrik Björklund). I just asked if he enjoyed the bench. He is probably their thirteenth forward today. Not so appreciated, he replies.

– Then became (David) Tomasek and a lot of people angry at you, Edlund continues, to which Pudas quickly retorts:

– As it should be.

“Love Pudas in this location”

Probably because the opponents didn’t find it so entertaining that Pudas came forward and mucked, but there were many others who actually thought he was doing something a little funny.

“Even though I’m an FBKer, I can’t help but love Pudas in this situation. Talk about getting the focus where he wants it. He won that match without even making an effort,” comments one person on TV4 Hockey’s Instagram.
“Best comment I’ve heard in my life,” writes another.
“I’m a Luleå supporter, it’s illegal to say this. But Pudas is such a hell of a character. Real king!”, writes a third.

What a cocky comment from Jonathan Pudas. Something that still gives a little spice to the matches and brings life to the series.

What do you think of his tricks? An innocent prank or an ugly and unnecessary thing? Feel free to comment!
