When Jonas Gardell visits Lottery at Liseberg leads the conversation between him and Lotta Engberg into both the one and the other.
Like a joke about ex-husband Mark Levengood – and it hits home with the audience.
At the beginning of the year, Mark Levengood and Jonas Gardell announced that they had chosen to separate, but that they would remain married. In a an Instagram post explained Jonas Gardell:
“It is with sadness and a strong sense of unreality that I tell you that Mark and I have separated. We will not separate, but no longer have a love relationship, but will try to be friends. We’re going to therapy and we’ll see where it leads.”
But in June reported The evening paper that Mark and Jonas have submitted a divorce application and that the decision on the divorce has gone through. Neither Mark nor Jonas has commented on the whole thing.
Joking about Mark Levengood in Lotta på Liseberg
When Jonas now visits Lotta at Liseberg, he makes a joke about his ex-husband during a chat with Lotta Engberg up on stage. It is when Lotta congratulates Jonas, who is turning 60 this year, that the conversation leads to age jokes – which in turn leads to a joke about Mark.
– I told Mark last year… You remember Mark? he asks the audience, who respond with laughter.
– He thinks it’s a bit hard to get older, and so I said that “I was at Katarina’s cemetery, I know half the cemetery and every one of them wanted to switch with us”. Because if we don’t age anymore, we’re dead, he continues.
And he points out that nothing is too late in life – like kissing Lotta on the mouth, for example. Which he then takes the opportunity to do!
– I had intended to ask you Jonas, now that you are single and soon to be 60, if you would go out on Tinder, but there is no need then, says Lotta.
– No, I’m content with Lotta at Liseberg, he replies.
