Advance favorites Jon Henrik Fjällgren with Arc North and Adam Woods lived up to expectations. They went straight to the final in Melodifestivalen.
It is the fourth time in a row that Jon Henrik Fjällgren has reached the final of the Melodifestivalen, which means a tangential record in the competition’s history. His sidekicks, the DJ Arc North and the singer Adam Woods, on the other hand, are both debutants, the latter so green that he has never even been on stage before.
Also Sekelius’ favorite
Tone Sekelius was also the favorite from the start in the Melodifestivalen competition in Gothenburg. However, the artist himself was worried about how the audience would receive attitude-filled “Rhythm of my show”, as it is very different from last year’s contribution “My way” – but the cockier, more sensual version of Tone Sekelius went home with the audience. The favorite handled the pressure and went straight to the final in the Friends arena.
Victor Crone and his “Diamonds” and Elov & Beny’s epadunk “Raggen går” went to the semi-finals.
