Todd Phillips is currently shooting the highly anticipated Joker sequel, Joker 2: Folie à deux, so that the film can be released on time October 3, 2024 can go to the cinema. How does Joker 2 fit into the new DC universe?
The universe of DC Comics adaptations is currently being restructured. The Joker sequel will not fall into the DCU “main universe”, but will stand on its own. Part 2, like its predecessor, belongs to the so-called Elseworlds-projects.
